Under the general principles of Reduction, Refinement and Replacement of experimental animals, our mission focuses on providing researchers with animal models in the appropriate quantity and with the necessary sanitary quality to guarantee the proper development of experimental procedures, which will result in in a less need to repeat the experiments due to problems with the animals and therefore in a lesser use of experimental animals.

For it:

- We breed, maintain and develop experimental animal models,

- We provide researchers with the support and training necessary for the proper development of experimental procedures,

- By controlling the environment that surrounds our animals, we guarantee their well-being and good health.

All this under the principle of the necessary budgetary balance that every public institution must comply with.
